Norman D. Schwartz

Norman Schwartz is an accomplished educator, entrepreneur, and finance professional with extensive experience in business, mentorship, and education. He serves as a Non-Teaching Adjunct at Brooklyn College in the Innovation and Entrepreneurship department, and as an Assistant Adjunct Professor and Executive in Residence at Long Island University (LIU), where he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in business.

Over his career, Norman has worked on Wall Street in senior roles including CFO and Chief Compliance Officer, and has advised startups, written business plans for venture capital financing, and developed programs on networking, business development, and personal asset management. He has also led international initiatives, mentoring students and refugees in Uganda to create sustainable business ventures.

Norman’s work focuses on empowering young leaders, shaping innovative curricula, and fostering entrepreneurship. As Chairman of the Mabu Education Advisory Board, he provides strategic guidance to ensure the institution delivers world-class education, sports development, and holistic student growth.

Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe

Neil Armstrong-Mortagbe is an award-winning Public Relations Practitioner, Human Capital Developer, and Sports Business Professional with nearly three decades of leadership experience across diverse industries. His career spans roles in fast-moving consumer goods, logistics, broadcasting, fundraising, consulting, and sports management with organizations such as Unilever, FIFA, the British Council, Maersk Ghana, Multimedia Broadcasting, Accra Hearts of Oak SC, and the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Neil currently serves as Head of Public Relations and Strategy at the Ghana Football Association, where he brings his expertise in communication, management, and business development to national and international football.

A product of Ghana’s University of Media Arts and Communications (UNIMAC), Neil graduated in 2024 as the Overall Best Master of Arts Student. He also holds a Master of Arts in Strategic Public Relations Management (UNIMAC), a Bachelor of Laws (GIMPA), a B.Sc. in Biochemistry with Chemistry (University of Ghana), and a part-qualification in the Postgraduate Diploma of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK).

Over his career, Neil has been recognized for excellence and impact, including being a finalist at the 2014 Titans Building Africa Awards, organized by CEO Communications in South Africa.

Ewura Ama Jenkins

Ewura Ama Jenkins is a lawyer, governance expert, and nonprofit leader with a career dedicated to building sustainable, well-governed institutions across Africa. She specializes in the intersection of law, social innovation, and organizational strategy, empowering mission-driven organizations—from grassroots nonprofits to early-stage tech startups—to scale their impact through strong governance, regulatory compliance, and ethical leadership.

Ewura trained at the University of Ghana School of Law and the Ghana School of Law, completing her pupilage at Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa & Ankomah. Her international experience includes serving as Legal Writer at JJ Moore & Associates in the U.S., where she developed legal content and trained staff in effective legal communication.

As Founder and Director of Reformation Community, Ewura leads a pan-African initiative nurturing youth leadership, entrepreneurship, and civic engagement. She also serves as Director at AfroPark, advising tech startups on governance, operations, and investor alignment.

Appointed Legal & Compliance Advisor to Mabu Education’s Advisory Board, Ewura provides strategic guidance on governance, regulatory matters, and compliance—ensuring Mabu operates with integrity and aligns with national and international standards.

Daniel Amankwah Boamah

Daniel Amankwah Boamah is a respected leader, author, and philanthropist with a career spanning academia, public service, and community development. He began in academia before joining the Bank of Ghana, where he continues to champion ethics, governance, and institutional culture. His work reflects a strong commitment to integrity, leadership, and community empowerment.

At the Bank of Ghana, Daniel serves as a Leadership Coach, Ethics Ambassador, and Change Champion, helping shape policies that improve staff welfare and workplace culture. With extensive training in Ghana’s legal and financial frameworks, including the Bank of Ghana Act 2002 and the institution’s Code of Ethics, he brings deep knowledge of compliance, governance, and strategy.

Outside his professional role, Daniel is the author of three books Spiritlife, Capacity of Silence, and Capacity in Chains. He is also a songwriter, poet, and founder of two social platforms, Latefacts and The Mirror, which focus on personal development and entrepreneurship. Chelle’ Jones

Chelle’ Jones is an experienced Early Childhood Educator with over a decade of impact in classrooms from pre-kindergarten through grade 3. Her work spans diverse settings, including IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) schools, international private schools, and underserved communities, giving her a unique ability to design inclusive, engaging, and learner-centered environments for all children.

Her teaching philosophy emphasizes inquiry, holistic development, and student agency. Chelle’ specializes in integrating the essential elements of the IB PYP, such as concepts, skills, and attitudes, while also drawing on Common Core and British curricula to help students develop into curious, confident, and globally minded learners. Skilled in a range of assessment strategies, she ensures each child’s growth is supported through personalized, meaningful feedback.

Chelle’ is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D) in International Educational Leadership at Wilkes University, building on her Master’s in Curriculum and Supervision from Penn State University. She also holds formal training in Adaptive Schools protocols, enhancing her expertise in collaborative leadership and decision-making.

Alex Amezah

Alex Amezah is an educator and football coach based in Akatsi in the Volta Region of Ghana. He serves under the Ghana Education Service and currently teaches at Avenor Senior High School in Avenorpeme, Volta Region. Alex holds a Master of Education in Physical Education from the University of Cape Coast (2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from the University of Education, Winneba (2016). With more than seventeen years of teaching experience, he has built a strong reputation as both an academic instructor and a mentor to young people.

Balancing a dual career in education and sports, Alex is deeply rooted in his community. He combines his passion for teaching with his love for football to inspire and guide youth, shaping not only their academic growth but also their personal discipline and athletic development. His influence extends beyond the classroom, where he provides mentorship and creates opportunities for young athletes to thrive.

In football, Alex is the head coach of Akatsi Kickers FC, a Division Two club in Ghana. He previously worked as an assistant coach at the prestigious West Africa Football Academy (WAFA), where he gained valuable experience in professional player development. Holding a CAF License B in football coaching, he actively contributes to talent development, match preparation, and training across the Volta Region. His involvement in regional coaching courses and football development programs reflects his commitment to raising standards in the game at the grassroots level.

Issabella Akwaboah

Issabella Akwaboah is an experienced educator with over 14 years of service under the Ghana Education Service. Throughout her career, she has taught across all levels, from crèche to Grade 12, demonstrating both versatility and commitment to student development. She holds a Bachelor of Education in Accounting from the University of Education, Winneba, Kumasi Campus, and brings a wealth of expertise in curriculum delivery and inclusive teaching practices.

Beyond the classroom, Issabella is a passionate social entrepreneur dedicated to addressing barriers that prevent girls from accessing education. Drawing from her own struggles with menstrual health and the stories of countless women and girls across Ghana, she designed and produces reusable menstrual pads that last up to four years. Her innovative approach has provided sustainable solutions to one of the leading causes of absenteeism among schoolgirls.

To scale her impact, Issabella founded the Amazing Girls Foundation, an organization committed to empowering women and girls in rural communities. The foundation provides menstrual hygiene resources and supports basic education, ensuring that girls can remain in school with dignity and confidence. Over the past six years, her leadership has enabled the foundation to reach more than 16,000 girls in Ghana with reusable sanitary pads, entirely funded through donor support.

Satya den Boer

Satya den Boer is a passionate professional in talent identification and development with experience across Africa and Europe. A true sports enthusiast with a deep interest in personal growth, he has dedicated his career to helping athletes and coaches unlock their potential, not only in sports but also in life. His work reflects his belief that personal development is just as important as athletic performance.

Satya studied Sports Management at The Hague University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, specializing in talent identification and development. Along the way, he also took extra courses in sports coaching and sports psychology. This combination gave him a broad perspective and the tools to guide people in different ways, helping them grow both as athletes and as individuals.

His professional journey began in Ghana with the Fafali Organization, where he trained more than 160 football coaches from across West Africa and supported young athletes in reaching their goals. From there, he moved on to Burkina Faso, serving as Head of Talent Development at Rahimo FC, where he worked closely with players to prepare them technically, tactically, mentally, and personally for careers in European football. In Egypt, he supported Al-Ahly in improving their talent identification programs while also mentoring coaches and athletes to create safer and more effective learning environments.

Satya has also worked extensively in Europe, gaining experience with both grassroots and elite athletes. He has scouted for the Dutch under-16 national teams, coached at AZ Alkmaar’s pre-academy schools, worked as a video scout for PSV Eindhoven, and led youth academy development at local Dutch clubs. Today, he is a coach, scout, and talent development specialist at Nextgen Academy in Málaga, Spain, an official partner of Mabu Education. Satya’s philosophy centers on giving individual attention and supporting personal development, ensuring that both coaches and athletes can thrive in the right environment.

Joseph Agbeko

Joseph Agbeko is a retired Ghanaian professional boxer and one of the nation’s most celebrated athletes. A two-time IBF Bantamweight World Champion (2007–2011), he also held the Commonwealth Bantamweight title (2004–2006) and the IBO Bantamweight title (2013), while challenging for the Super Bantamweight World title in 2013. Known for his skill, resilience, and sportsmanship, Agbeko remains a respected figure in the global boxing community.

Beyond the ring, Joseph is the founder of the Joseph Agbeko Foundation (JAF), a non-profit organization established in 2015 to empower young people through sports, education, and mental health support. The foundation combines boxing training with literacy programs, mentorship, and wellness initiatives, helping youth build discipline, confidence, and life skills while promoting academic excellence and social inclusion.

Winston Yeboah Danso

Winston Yeboah Danso is passionate about changing lives through sports, education, and community growth. As the Founder and Chief Executive of the East Legon Football Academy, he has built one of Ghana’s most recognized youth academies, giving young people the chance to learn, grow, and dream beyond borders. Under his guidance, the Academy has nurtured talent, inspired discipline, and opened doors to international opportunities, including scholarship pathways and tournament successes such as the Dana Cup in Denmark.

Winston’s journey goes far beyond the football field. He is an entrepreneur at heart, leading ventures such as Reinswin Automated Co. Denning Edem Hotor

Denning Edem Hotor (Edem) is a respected Ghanaian recording artist, cultural ambassador, and entrepreneur. Performing under the name Edem, he is widely known for blending Ewe heritage, hiplife, hip hop, reggae, and afrobeat, and for using his music to celebrate identity, uplift communities, and address social issues.

Edem’s career began early, marked by his passion for rhythm as a child tapping out beats on household items and forming his first music group at school in Bishop Herman College, a senior high school, and later launched his professional journey under the mentorship of Hammer of The Last Two. His debut album Volta Regime led to national recognition; subsequent works like Mass Production and Books & Rhymes have reinforced his reputation as one of Ghana’s most enduring and technically gifted artists.

Randy Edem Amezado

Randy Edem Amezado is the co-founder of Mabu Education and CEO of the Fafali Organization. For over a decade, he has used football to keep neglected and at-risk children in school, directly supporting more than 300 young people. A UEFA Licensed Coach, he also holds certifications in Talent Identification and Development from the English FA, FIFA Safeguarding, FIFA Football Medicine, and Sports for Good from Torrens University. He is a certified member of Coaches Across Continents, aligning his work with global standards in coaching and youth development.

Randy has built a strong career in football and education. He served as Head Coach at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) for five years, shaping the university’s football culture and mentoring student-athletes. He also worked with East Legon Football Academy and held technical roles with JFC, Valued Girls FC, and the Equator Gold Football Project, helping to structure effective youth development pathways.

Beyond coaching, Randy is committed to community empowerment. Through the “Coach the Coaches” program under Fafali, he has trained coaches across four regions in Ghana to use sport as a tool for social change. He has also led soccer clinics that combine fun with life lessons, addressing issues such as teenage pregnancy while creating safe spaces for children to learn and play. Randy’s work has reached international audiences, including his participation in Festival 24 in France. With more than 10 years of experience working in the Central Tongu District, where Mabu Education is based, he brings deep community ties and local knowledge. Gala Nuñez

Gala Nuñez is a Peruvian architect with over a decade of experience at the crossroads of education, culture, and design. With a professional degree in Architecture and Urbanism from Universidad Ricardo Palma, a Master’s in Anthropology with a focus on Andean Studies from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, and specialized diplomas in project management, valuation, and educational research, Gala brings a uniquely multidisciplinary approach to her work.

Her career has been closely linked to the Ministry of Education of Peru, where she contributed to projects improving rural boarding schools in the Amazon and Andes, advancing inclusive education policies, enhancing sanitation and infrastructure in public schools, and strengthening facilities for sports and recreation. These experiences deepened her understanding of the challenges of providing quality education in communities facing geographic isolation, climate pressures, and social inequality.

Beyond government service, Gala co-founded Estudio Base Cero, an architecture practice dedicated to community-centered educational facilities, and served as Head Coordinator at the Instituto Arqueo Arquitectura Andina (IAAA), where she led cultural heritage and research programs. Internationally, she worked with the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation on the Technology and Innovation Park for Agriculture at Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina, integrating research, startups, and education into one innovative campus.

Waree Evans

Waree Evans brings over three decades of experience in education, construction, and project management to the Mabu Education Advisory Board. With qualifications in Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, and Construction from the City & Guilds of London, as well as a Certificate in Education from the University College of Education, Winneba, he bridges both the academic and practical worlds of technical training and infrastructure development.

Mr. Evans began his career as a teacher at Ada Technical Institute, where he not only trained students in building construction but also served as an examiner for the City & Guilds of London and the Basic Education Certificate Examinations. His dedication to mentoring young people has shaped many careers in technical and vocational education, underscoring his belief in education as a tool for empowerment and transformation.

Beyond the classroom, he is the founder of Evareems Company Limited, a construction firm registered with the Registrar General’s Department and the Ministry of Works and Housing. Through this company, he has successfully delivered key projects such as district education offices, health facilities, perimeter walls, and both public and private buildings across Ghana. His expertise spans site management, cost planning, design advisory, and project execution, ensuring that projects remain both sustainable and impactful.

Mr. Evans also plays an active leadership role in Ghana’s construction industry as the Greater Accra Regional Secretary of the Association of Building and Civil Engineering Contractors of Ghana (ABCECG). His career reflects a lifelong commitment to excellence, discipline, and service. At Mabu Education, he serves as Infrastructure, Construction & Facilities Advisor, guiding the organization in developing sustainable spaces that foster innovation, learning, and opportunity.
